OUR GOALS
RELAF's objective is to promote and accompany policies of deinstitutionalization and transformation of alternative care to guarantee compliance with the right to family and community coexistence of all children and adolescents in Latin America and the Caribbean.
WHAT WE DO
We work together with government authorities that must lead and lead changes in public policies and ensure compliance with the right to family and community coexistence of children and adolescents. We guide and develop strategies to promote deinstitutionalization, prevent the separation of children and adolescents from their families of origin and install alternative family-based care programs, such as foster care.
