Christina holds degrees in English Law and Spanish Law from the University of Kent and from Universidad Complutense of Madrid, Spain, respectively, and has a Master’s in Human Rights from the University of Essex, UK. Since 2005, Christina has been working as an international consultant and specialist on children’s rights, promoting these rights and providing technical advice for the creation of policies, regulations and practices regarding the protection of children deprived of parental care (foster care and adoption) in several countries around the world, especially for UNICEF, the Hague Conference on International Private Law, the International Social Service, and RELAF. She is currently living in Mexico, where she works as a Regional Advisor for the ISS and as a Consultant for UNICEF Mexico and RELAF.
