Patricia Teresa Secunza Schott is the National Director of Casa Alianza México I.A.P. She holds a master's degree in Human Rights Education from the Regional Cooperation Center for Adult Education in Latin America and the Caribbean (CREFAL). She has a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design from the Universidad Iberoamericana de Torreón and a specialization in Trainer Training from CREFAL. She also has diplomas in Gender Studies from the Colegio de México and in Childhood Rights and Strategic Litigation for the Inter-American Human Rights System from the Inter-American Institute of Human Rights (IIDDH).
From 2011 to 2017, she directed Hogar Providencia de Don Vasco, a private assistance institution in Michoacán, where she focused on Human Rights Education, gender perspective, and interculturality to strengthen families and promote participatory processes for girls, adolescents, and young people. She has collaborated with various Social Assistance Centers (CAS) in Mexico and volunteered at a shelter for girls and adolescent women in Peru.
From 2018 to 2020, she was Coordinator of Advocacy and Expansion at the Quinta Carmelita Foundation. She served as General Director of Ednica IAP from 2020 to 2022 and participated in the consultation process for updating the Protocol for those administering justice in cases involving children and adolescents at the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (SCJN).
Currently, she is the Alternate Councilor for Girls, Boys, and Adolescents at the Board of Private Assistance of the Federal District and a signatory of the Entrepreneurship Declaration by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization through Global Honor Entrepreneurship.
