Alberto Padilla

A specialist in child protection and advocate for the rights of children, Alberto graduated from the Law School of the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD) and has a Master’s in Social Education and Recreation from the University of Sevilla - INTEC. He has also taken specialising courses on Social Management and Project Design at INDES-BID, among other studies. He is currently Head of the Department of Public Policy and Regulations of the National Council for Childhood and Adolescence (CONANI). Like many others, he is dedicated to achieving a promising future for institutionalised children, by advocating for family-based alternative care.
